Trey Buckley - President
President Trey Buckley is a native of Lakewood, California growing up in the Long Beach area for all of his childhood. A graduate of Lakewood High School, he continued his academics as a student of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While studying in New Mexico he took an interest in construction and engineering. Trey took classes for a bachelor’s degree (BS) Construction Management while also taking classes in structural engineering. Trey has worked in the construction industry since 2010 working for a general contractor as a supervisor for LD Miller Construction in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He returned to Southern California to take a position in the aerospace industry in 2013 at Boeing Space Systems in El Segundo, California.

After leaving Boeing in 2015, Trey joined the team at Made in the Shade Awnings as Manager of Operations and later moved up to the General Manager position. Trey took over the business in 2020 and reopened its doors as Outdoor Shade Concepts with a commitment to continue providing the Greater Southern California area with shade solutions for homes, businesses, and industrial applications.

As a business owner, Trey Buckley strives to provide his customers with top-notch quality and expertise for their shade needs and applications. His top priority is customer experience and satisfaction. Trey strives to offer the best products to meet customer driven desires under any budget.

Trey still lives in the Long Beach/Lakewood area with his wife Christina and his two children, son Jackson and daughter Charlie. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his young family.
